leukemia
-
Greetings,
I'm a novice when it comes to medicinal marijuana, and unfortunately, its cultivation is prohibited where I reside. However, considering my leukemia diagnosis, I'm keen to give it a shot. With the vast variety of strains available, I'm unsure which one to choose. Should I opt for any particular strain or one with low THC and high CBD content? I came across a strain with 9% THC and 9% CBD. I'm quite lost in this area. Any guidance would be deeply appreciated.
Thanks in advance. -
Appreciate your response. It's reassuring to know you're doing well, though my white blood cell count is a tad above 100k. It seems we have similar experiences with doctors who only focus on chemical treatments and aren't open to medicinal marijuana. I've already acquired my growing kit and other essentials, and I'm prepared to start cultivating. Warmest regards.

The text expresses gratitude for a previous response and shares personal health information, specifically a high white blood cell count. The individual also mentions their doctors' emphasis on traditional medicine and lack of knowledge or interest in medical marijuana. They've gathered all the necessary equipment and are prepared to start cultivating. They end the message with a polite sign-off and encouragement for any further queries. Good luck wishes are also extended.

Some acquaintances with similar experiences suggest that a harmonized strain, such as the one you referred to with equal parts THC and CBD, could be a beneficial starting point. CBD can aid in alleviating pain and inflammation, while a small amount of THC might assist with issues like nausea and loss of appetite. However, individual responses can vary, so some trial and error might be necessary. I understand that cultivation is prohibited where you live, which is unfortunate. Have you considered obtaining a medicinal cannabis prescription? You might want to explore the option of a medicinal cannabis pharmacy where you can accurately source what you need without any legal risks. Rest assured, you're not alone in your search for medicinal cannabis as a potential solution.

The individual is new to medical cannabis and despite its illegality in their country, they are considering growing it due to their leukemia diagnosis. They are unsure which strain to grow, asking whether they should opt for a strain with low THC and high CBD, having observed a strain with equal THC and CBD percentages. They are seeking advice on this matter.
Another person responded to their query by sharing their own experience since their CLL diagnosis in 2016. They revealed that they started using RSO after growing a pound of White Widow, a strain with equal CBD and THC levels. They mentioned purchasing their seeds from a certain source, and that despite maintaining their WBC at 40 and being at stage zero, they consume a gram of decarboxylated cannabis daily. They also carried out a comprehensive body detox for 50 days, cutting out alcohol, meat, dairy, and sugar. They lost 20 lbs during this period but have since regained it, which they view positively. They recommend finding a surgical oncologist, as they believe that medical and radiation oncologists often favor chemical treatments, which they claim can worsen blood and bone cancer. They suggest that consuming RSO can stimulate the cannabinoid receptors, promoting the absorption of beneficial substances into the body. They commend the original poster's attitude towards their situation.
