I've been contemplating purchasing some red wigglers from an online marketplace to kickstart my own small composting project.

Does anyone have experience with using compost worms in containers of around 7 to 10 gallons? I understand that larger is usually better, but as long as they have sufficient organic material to consume... I've come across a great bargain for these worms and since I'm in the early stages of vegetation, I'm curious if introducing them at this stage would be beneficial during the blooming period.

Except for three plants, all will be grown in recycled organic soil (consisting of two bags of a specific organic soil mix, one bag of another blend, worm castings, blood meal, FBM, Myccorizae, dehydrated poultry manure, biochar, and so on). The 10-gallon containers will be filled with brand new soil of the same composition.

Go ahead, a bigger container not only keeps them cozy but also provides a wider variety of options, promoting multiplication.

      Best of luck.
