Apologies for my absence; life events intervened.

Today, I'll share with you not one, but three pieces of information: a recent article, a previous study, and some insights about our old federal medical marijuana program that still exists, albeit with only one remaining patient after Elvy Musikka quit due to the poor quality of the government-provided product.

The older study from 2002 is titled "Chronic Cannabis Use in the Compassionate Investigational New Drug Program".

A recent study suggests that the marijuana approved for research by the federal government closely resembles the kind found in commercial markets. However, not all scientists agree with this. The study, led by one of the few individuals authorized by the U.S. government to grow cannabis for research, asserts that the country's cannabis has essentially the same primary cannabinoid content. The research suggests that the genetic makeup of the plant, rather than regional growing differences, mainly determines this. They claim that all high Δ9-THC cannabis samples, regardless of the state or region they come from, are fundamentally the same, with THC levels averaging between 10 and 20 percent.

On another note, I am smoking some legally obtained, tested cannabis from California, which is marked as containing 38.8% THC.

    Kind regards.

Apologies for the absence, as life circumstances necessitated a break. Now, I present you with both a new article and an older study about our government's longstanding federal medical marijuana program. Although it's dwindling in size, the program persists.

The older study, dating back to 2002, is titled “Chronic Cannabis Use in the Compassionate Investigational New Drug Program”.

The newer article underlines that federally approved research marijuana is strikingly similar to what's commercially available, according to a recent study. However, not all scientists agree with this conclusion. The study was conducted by one of the few individuals authorized by the U.S. government to grow marijuana for research purposes. The study found that the primary cannabinoid content of cannabis is virtually the same nationwide, regardless of where it's grown or sourced. The genetic makeup of the plant, rather than regional growing differences, is primarily responsible for the chemical composition of the plant, the study reported. The analyzed samples reportedly averaged between 10 percent and 20 percent THC content.

On a personal note, I am currently enjoying some legal, tested, California cannabis that is labeled as having a THC content of 38.8%.

I'm glad to be back and thank you for your patience.

You're referring to the government, right? Those over-privileged individuals who act recklessly? It's good to see you again.

The content monitoring system prevented me from sharing the third link. So, I'll include it here at the conclusion of my message.

Additionally, since I brought up an amiable woman I encountered some years ago, I feel it's pertinent to add the following:

There remains just a single federal cannabis patient after the departure of a certain individual from the IND Program. This news came out in 2021.
