Insomnia Sleep Medication
-
Is there anyone who can suggest a reliable recipe for this? I'm attempting to concoct something that could help with sleeplessness.
I'm considering a formula I've yet to test, which includes 14g of a cannabis strain with 9% THC and 15% CBD, mixed with 28g of another strain with .56% THC and 15% CBD. My idea is to make a coconut oil infusion using both of these. I'm thinking of using approximately 125 ML of coconut oil and 1 TSP of sunflower lecithin, then encapsulating the mixture in size 00 capsules.
Does that seem like it might be effective? I would appreciate any suggestions you might have.
Thanks in advance.

I have never experienced it previously.

I desire to secure employment so I could have the financial means to explore the use of edibles for improving sleep.

The text to paraphrase:

Thank you.
I'm open to any advice or suggestions on this matter.

The individual expressed a desire to secure employment so they could experiment with edible cannabis products for sleep improvement. They found that a concoction of infused Medium Chain Triglyceride (MCT) oil works best for this purpose. They usually prepare it by mixing an ounce of activated cannabis with a cup of MCT oil.
Taking two teaspoons of this mixture tends to be effective, with the dosage ranging from 50 to 100 milligrams. The person's partner usually takes a dropper full of the mixture.
They typically add this concoction to their beverages, where it will float on the surface. It contributes a pleasant coconut taste. If they use coconut oil instead of MCT oil, they spread it on toast.
They believe that purchasing expensive edibles isn't necessary, and their homemade concoction works just as well, if not better.

It seems to me you might be overthinking the sleep oil. Keep in mind that the CBD inhibits the THC from interacting with the CB receptors. I prepare sleep oil for my partner by simply infusing MCT and adding 10% lecithin. I utilise 1 ounce of decarboxylated indica (NOT sativa) to one cup of MCT. She consumes two droppers 1/2 hour prior to sleeping. She recently returned from a three-week journey abroad and expressed that she missed the oil. The prescription sleeping tablets she received simply did not meet her needs.

If you're in Australia, it would be advisable to schedule a consultation with a top-rated medical cannabis clinic. They can guide you on the appropriate dosage and type of oil that would be beneficial.

You should consider giving CBD oil a go.

Jessica Aaron offered some guidance on the matter and is willing to share it if you're open to hearing it.

The suggestion to try CBD oil has already been attempted.

Is there anyone who can provide a solid recipe for this? I'm trying to concoct something to help with sleep problems.
Currently, my untested method involves using 14 grams of a "Garliccot Bubblegum" strain with 9% THC and 15% CBD, mixed with 28 grams of a "Sour Brulee" strain with .56% THC and 15% CBD. I'm considering creating an infusion with coconut oil using these two strains. My plan is to use about 125 ML of coconut oil and 1 TSP of sunflower lecithin and then encapsulate it in size 00 capsules.
Does anyone think this would work? Any suggestions are appreciated.
Cheers,
Mike

No, I don't think so. Have you possibly confused the THC and CBD percentages? The THC content seems low. You seem to have enough oil there to create a Caesar salad. I usually prefer to use alcohol (food-safe ethanol) as the effects are felt faster. Here's a tip, don't dilute the ethanol with water, let it evaporate until it suits your taste. To ensure a good night's sleep, I'd recommend making a potent mixture - 1 oz of decarbed bud into 4 oz of frozen alcohol using the shake method and a strong dose of 2-3 dropper "squeezes" usually does the trick for me.
