Hey mate, sounds like you’ve got a solid base mix going — that combo should treat your plants well for a first run. Dirt is forgiving, especially when you're still learning. You don’t have to be exact every time, which helps.

Anyone here still running old-school dirt grows? Tips? -
First Time GrowingStarted my first indoor grow — just two plants under LEDs. Learned quick not to overwater and to stick to the light schedule (18/6 veg, 12/12 flower). They’re in flower now and smelling strong.
Biggest tip so far: airflow matters way more than I thought. Anyone got good advice for curing once harvest hits?

Anyone here still running old-school dirt grows? Tips?So I’ve been reading up on all the fancy hydro and coco setups, but honestly I kinda want to keep it simple and stick to dirt for my first proper run. I’ve got some decent organic soil mixed with perlite, worm castings, and a bit of compost. Nothing too crazy.
I’ve seen people say dirt is “forgiving” but also that it can be unpredictable depending on the mix. For those of you who’ve actually run dirt grows what’s your go-to technique? Do you just let the soil do the work and feed with teas, or are you still hitting them with bottled nutes?
Also curious how you handle watering schedules. Some growers say to keep it light and let the soil dry out, others say keep it evenly moist. Trying not to drown my babies lol.
Any advice, must-know tips, or even mistakes you learned the hard way would be super appreciated.
